Field Manager - Marine & Coastal Conservation

Join Outpost X as a Field Manager in the stunning coastal regions of Bali, where you’ll serve as the "General on the Ground" for our marine and conservation initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact projects in sustainable farming, wildlife protection, and coastal ecosystem restoration. Based in Canggu, you’ll manage teams of dedicated conservationists and local partners, implementing programs that protect Bali’s unique marine biodiversity.

In this role, you’ll oversee field operations, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. You’ll work closely with our team of scientists, farmers, and community leaders to create and maintain sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and local communities. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for conservation and a knack for managing diverse teams in challenging environments.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Lead and manage field teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution of marine and coastal conservation projects.
• Oversee sustainable farming initiatives, including crop management and soil conservation.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including environmental impact assessments and compliance with regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, government agencies, and NGOs.
• Develop and implement training programs for field staff on conservation techniques and best practices.
• Ensure all field operations are conducted safely and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing environmental impact.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement innovative conservation strategies.
• Represent Outpost X in community and stakeholder meetings, advocating for marine and coastal conservation.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Conservation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field management, conservation, or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience working in diverse teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate and execute complex projects in challenging environments.
• Familiarity with GIS software and environmental data management tools.
• Certification in environmental management or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
